A fast-moving blaze engulfed a vacant Northwest Side home and a neighboring business Monday morning.
No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at 8:55 a.m. in the 4800 block of North Maryvale Avenue, near Interstate 10 and Ruthrauff Road.
Northwest Fire District was on the scene within minutes as plumes of gray smoke filled the sky. Traffic on the interstate came to a halt as vehicles backed up on the Ruthrauff exit.Read More
